Seal Coat+ offers all the same benefits, but lasts longer—lowering cost per year by extending service life beyond its added upfront cost. It’s not for everyone; some properties, like churches and funeral homes, prefer standard seal coating more frequently to maintain a consistently “new” appearance.
GSB is commonly known as “hot oil” or “oil based”. It is unique in that it actually soaks into the pavement, restoring some lost flexibility. GSB is most effective on older pavements that need to be rehydrated.
SS-1 is the most cost effective treatment for super large projects, like roads or industrial applications. It is commonly known as “hot oil” or “oil based”. Asphalt emulsions were invented over a century ago, and are still the most widely used surface treatments today. SS-1 can be very messy, and is not typically a good option for smaller properties. SS-1 soaks into the pavement, and is most effective on older pavements that need to be rehydrated.
