Challenge

This high volume fast food restaurant was a huge challenge for maintenance and repairs, since it has extended hours and experiences extremely high traffic volumes, utilizing every inch of their small lot. There was no room to section off, divert traffic, or many of the other tricks utilized to accomplish work in high traffic environments. Additionally, the drab and faded appearance of the asphalt and traffic markings was not a good visual aesthetic.

Solution

Work was scheduled at night during the hottest time of year. Products and additives were carefully selected to ensure the most rapid cure times. Redundant equipment, tools, and personnel were put in place to insure any breakdowns or surprises would not derail the project.

Summary

The project was able to be completed at night, and the restaurant was able to open at the normal time, without disturbing customer traffic. The store recorded record sales in the months after the make-over, and has continued to see huge influxes of profits whenever they freshen up the asphalt and striping.
