Sealcoating your driveway is a process that many people overlook, though it can be especially valuable for your driveway. There are many advantages to sealcoating your driveway and it can actually save you a substantial amount of money in the long run. At Top Job Asphalt, we strive to provide the services that you need to maintain pristine asphalt surfaces. When you have your driveway seal coated, you help to keep it in great condition. Here are a few of the advantages of sealcoating your driveway.

Maintain its Appearance

The appearance of your driveway will have a large impact on the overall appearance of your property. When you have your sealcoat your driveway, you can prevent fading and many of the issues that can cause your driveway to appear rundown. Driveway sealcoating helps to ensure that your driveway continues to look as good as possible for as long as possible. Maintaining the appearance of a driveway is a great way to maintain its value and improve the curb appeal of your property.

Prevent Cracks

Cracks are one of the major issues associated with driveways. When cracks arise, water will be able to infiltrate beneath the surface. This can allow them to grow, which will lead to additional damage to the driveway. When you prevent cracks from occurring, you can help to ensure that this damage is minimized and that your driveway stays in good condition. Alternatively, if cracks have already occurred on your driveway, it can be particularly beneficial to ensure that you have these cracks sealed thoroughly. This will help to stop the damage in its tracks, without allowing it to progress to a more severe degree.

Protect from UV Rays

UV rays can cause damage to many different surfaces. For example, it can cause carpeting and wallpaper to fade on the inside of a building when the windows don’t prevent UV ray penetration. It can also cause fading and damage to the surface of the driveway. When you apply a sealcoat to your driveway, it is less likely to sustain damage from the sun. This helps to keep it in good condition for much longer, despite the external elements that could otherwise cause damage to it.

Strengthen Driveway

A driveway sees a substantial amount of wear over time. They are subject to the regular weight of vehicles, in addition to damage from external weather. When your driveway has a sealcoat layer, it will ultimately be far stronger and more durable than a driveway without sealcoating. By strengthening your driveway, you reduce the total amount of damage that your driveway experiences. This can go a long way toward reducing repair and maintenance expenses. Driveway sealcoating is a great option for providing additional strength and durability to the surface of your driveway in order to prevent the likelihood of additional issues from occurring.

Saves Money

Driveway maintenance costs can grow significantly, especially when your driveway isn’t kept in good condition. A driveway sealcoat helps to prevent damage to your driveway, which will go a long way toward reducing repair costs. Driveway sealcoating is relatively cost effective and goes a long way toward protecting the condition of your driveway. A driveway that is in better condition will improve the overall value of your property, as well as will result in lower maintenance expenses. This is just one of the ways in which a driveway sealcoat can help to save you money over the long run.

Protect Against Chemical Spills

Vehicles contain many chemicals that can spill when there is an issue with the vehicle. This often results in damage to the driveway and can also cause difficult to remove stains. When you add a sealcoat to your driveway, you can help to protect it against damage from chemical spills. This will also make it much easier to clean up chemical spills when they occur. A sealcoat helps to keep your driveway in the best possible condition and prevents damage that can come from many different avenues. When you make an effort to protect against chemical spills, you will reduce the total amount of damage that can occur to your driveway.

Prolong Lifetime of Driveway

Regular sealcoating can go a long way toward prolonging the total lifetime of the driveway. Though any driveway will eventually need repairs or even replacement, a sealcoat layer will greatly extend the amount of time in between these services becoming necessary. Driveway sealcoating substantially prolongs the lifetime of your driveway, which helps to keep it in the best possible condition for as long as possible. A sealcoat is a great method for protecting your driveway and preventing substantial damage from arising over time. The longer your driveway stays in good condition, the less money you will have to invest in repairing it and keeping it in good condition.

Reduce Maintenance

Sealcoating is a great maintenance method to protect the condition of your driveway. When you prevent damage from occurring in the first place, you will be able to reduce the amount of other maintenance and repairs that your driveway requires. This will go a long way toward saving you money and keeping your driveway in the best possible condition over time. A driveway sealcoat can save you a significant amount of money on the upkeep of your driveway, as well as improves the overall curb appeal and value of your property. It is important to provide regular maintenance to your driveway to prevent issues from both arising and escalating.

Driveway sealcoating is a process that comes with many benefits. It helps to prevent damage to the driveway and ensures that the driveway maintains the best possible appearance. When you have your driveway covered with a sealcoat, you can protect your property and minimize the likelihood of damage to your driveway. The prevention of cracks and protection from the external elements are just a few benefits of driveway sealcoating processes. My husband and I contracted with Top Job to asphalt the driveway at our cabin in Fish Haven, ID. Starting with Steve who gave us the estimate, to Teri, Sam and especially Kevin who headed the project was timely, professional, and exceptionally well done. They are an honest and reputable company. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking to asphalt. Pam

Top Job Staff and crew did an excellent job on our parking lot. The crack seal crew was on the job before daylight and did great work. Most impressive was the slurry seal crew. Kerry and his team did a wonderful job. worked around my tenants parking issues, worked between rain storms. Kerry would not apply slurry until he was 100 percent sure the parking lot was dry enough after the rain. refreshing to see someone care so much about his product, his job, and his crew. Rosalie was also right on top of scheduling and even made a site visit to make sure I was happy. Top Job went above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone .. I will use this company again in the future. Thank you very much! Tony and Cole Nielson T.K.S. Development.

What Our Customers Are Saying

Very impressed with the quality of their work and the organization of the company. The project estimator was spot on as to when the bid would be received and the work was professional  from start to finish. I appreciated the opportunity for a walkthrough inspection after the crack filling was completed as I had some very large cracks in the asphalt. I give this company a ten out of ten (which I really do) and highly recommend them.
